What does the FF at the end of the system mean?

Our individually assembled water filter system is a direct flow system, the English name of which is Free-Flow, in short "FF". For this reason, the system has this abbreviation. The difference to the AS5000 is that you do not have an additional tank that stores the water for a certain period of time.

You can enjoy your filtered tap water straight away and don't miss out on the well-known and unique water taste. Two high-performance and fine-pored 250 GPD membranes, together with the pressure booster pump, ensure the excellent and fast filter performance of the FF system.

Why do we filter water?

Despite the strict inspection by the waterworks, there is still a large number of pollutants in our tap water that flow into our water glass as soon as we open the lever of our faucet. Whether it is a high nitrate content in the water, old pipelines in the streets or drug residues in the groundwater - we cannot see the route from the waterworks to your home. Pollutants that we cannot see with the naked eye but that we do not want to absorb into our body can ultimately reappear in your tap water. That is why we at AQUASAFE recommend additional filtration, through reverse osmosis, of the water shortly before you pour it into your drinking glass, in order to really filter out all unwanted pollutants. What we use to filter:

Thanks to the finest, high-quality membranes, pollutants, lead, bacteria, viruses and micro-plastics are filtered out of the water - so you can access clean, germ-free and fresh water every day without putting additional strain on the environment with CO2 emissions and plastic bottles .

Filter 1 | Sediment filter (5 microns)

This filter stops coarse particles such as rust, sand and dirt floating in the water.

Filter 2 | Activated carbon filter (GAC)

The carbon activated carbon filter ensures that pollutants and foreign bodies such as chlorine, lead or other heavy metals and chemical residues are filtered out.

Filter 3 | Sediment filter (1 micron)

With the third filter level, the elements that are not visible to the eye are filtered. These can include microparticles, carbon particles and microplastics.

High-performance membranes (2 x 250 GPD)

These two high-performance membranes ensure the final filtration of the water and remove up to 99% of all remaining foreign bodies. In conjunction with the pressure booster pump, you will receive the purest water for your daily needs within a very short time.

Before the filtered water flows out of the tap, it passes through this additional vitalization filter. This contains high-energy ceramic balls fired at 1800 degrees. These cause the water to swirl again and release traces of iron ions to the water. Thus bioenerg.

SPACE-SAVING HOUSING + HIGH FILTER PERFORMANCE

Together with our in-house technicians and designers, we have revised the entire AS series in order to optimize and resolve problems, functions and ergonomic issues. For example, the AS5000FF is much flatter than other water filter systems available on the market. This saves you a lot of space in the base cabinet.

EASY INSTALLATION

We have also simplified the installation process for the system. A high quality manual with colored pictures will help you with the installation. The color-coded hoses and the markings on the system also allow for easy and quick installation. If you have any questions about repairs, one of our technicians will always be happy to help.

AQUASTOP AS STANDARD

The scope of delivery includes an additional AQUASTOP incl. replacement pad, which ensures even more safety in the system. As soon as water unexpectedly flows out of the system, the AQUASTOP trips and thus prevents the water from escaping any further. This prevents major water damage.
